*Creation of Speed Demon
I am the right man for this mission! My master, Ash Brittenham made me super human by designing a special jet which will propel me to other schools where I will share these tales and meet up with a new superhero friend. We are excited to start our storybook adventure. We hope you will join us!" *This page is dedicated to Newton Baker and Roger Crowley who introduced Kristina to Union Elementary School--- where she meet Ash and his classmates!
*To learn more about Ash and his friends please visit:Superheroes: Muscular Dystrophy & Union Elementary . This was Portraits for Charity's™ first Workshop! Kristina is eternally grateful to be given this wonderful opportunity, which has inspired her to create "Kids Share". Please enjoy this slide show and come back to see Speed Demon 2 completed with the children's tissue art! This workshop was to help Ash in his creation of "Speed Demon 2". On Thursday June 19th, 2008, Ash Brittenham and friends came to visit Kristina A. Lutes at her Vermont hill side farm. With the help of family and friends beautiful tissue art was created and will be montage into a superhero portrait. The work area was the kitchen table where ages 3 and up came together. Ash was very pleased when he was presented with a drawing Kristina had created from his superhero, "Speed Demon 2". Ash came up with his own superhero version of, "Speed Demon 2". He spends countless hours creating new and old superhero drawings in several sketch books. It is a wish for Ash to have his version of "Speed Demon 2" become a reality. Ash requested that "Speed Demon 2" look like himself if he were 17. He also asked that his superhero be a powerful, muscular, bigger than life figure. Ash stated that his version of "Speed Demon 2" was born a normal human being but became a superhero by using his superhero gear. "Speed Demon 2" will be completed in the fall of 2008. Kristina will be including "Speed Demon 2" into Portraits for Charity's™ collaborative, "Kids Share"-Storybook, which will also feature a co-creation of other Superhero's, created by children. In 2009 Portraits for Charity™ will have completed its first "Kids Share"-Storybook. *Photographs at this website are Courtesy of Crowley Photos unless otherwise listed. *Please consider supporting Portraits for Charity™(PFC) "Kids Share" workshops.
